The Saigh Foundation welcomes applications
for funding from St. Louisarea organizations benefiting
children and youth in the areas of education and health
care. If your organization would like to submit an application
for funding, please follow the proposal format below.
Please submit proposals at least three months before
any quarterly meeting of The Foundation. Quarterly meetings
are normally held in January, April, July and October.
Submit your proposal, by mail or fax

Please submit a proposal containing
the following elements:
- The primary goals of your organization,
including, as appropriate, the need or problem that
the organization works to address and the segments
of the population to which efforts are primarily directed.
- The most recent annual report,
if available.
- A brief history of the organization,
if not contained in the annual report.
- A list of directors or trustees
and their affiliations.
- Your most recent financial audit.
- The current operating budget.
- A list of foundation and corporate
support with amounts each has given.
- Your IRS 501(c)(3) determination
letter.
- Describe the project for which
you are seeking support, including:
- a statement of its primary purpose
and the need or problem you are seeking to address;
- the population you plan to serve
and how this population will benefit from the project;
- its anticipated duration; and
- its current budget.
- If the proposal is for an educational
institution, then also include the following:
- number of students enrolled,
- amount of endowment, and
- background on institution, including
history and student profile.
To maximize the impact of our limited
resources, the Foundation does not participate in the
following areas:
- Annual appeals, dinner functions
and fundraising events
- Capital campaigns
- Loans and deficits
- Grants for films and travel
- Nonprofit organizations outside
of the metropolitan St. Louis area.
